A player for the Ghana Premier League club Inter Allies has died following a car crash, the club has announced.
Prince Appiah was involved in an accident near Cantonments in Accra in the early hours of Sunday.
He survived the crash but was in bad shape and was hospitalized.
Despite receiving treatment at both the Korle-Bu and Police Hospitals he passed away Wednesday afternoon.
Appiah joined Inter Allies earlier this year.
