Daniel Opare Signs For Belgian Top Flight Side Royal Antwerp

Daniel Opare

Former Black Stars defender Daniel Opare has signed for Belgian top flight side Royal Antwerp.
The 27 year old joins the club on a two year deal after leaving his former club Augsburg in Germany.
Opare’s contract with the German side was terminated in February this year after the club accused him of improper conduct. He has been without a club since then.
Daniel came up through the Ghanaian youth ranks and played for the U-20 world cup side of 2009. He has since had a nomadic career, moving between countries due to injury and poor form.
He was rehabilitating quite nicely in Germany until this recent setback.
Opare returns to Belgium where he had earlier played for Standard Liege.
