The p0rn star who allegedly had an affair with U.S President Donald Trump and has been a political nightmare for him, Stormy Daniels, has been arrested by police in Ohio.
Daniels, real name Stpehanie Clifford, was performing at a strip club in Columbus, Ohio, when she was arrested for allowing a customer to touch her whilst on stage.
Her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, revealed news of the arrest on social media and called it politically motivated.
“Just rcvd word that my client @StormyDaniels was arrested in Columbus Ohio whole performing the same act she has performed across the nation at nearly a hundred strip clubs. This was a setup & politically motivated. It reeks of desperation. We will fight all bogus charges.” he posted on twitter.
According to reports, Daniels was performing on stage when a customer touched her in a ‘non-s£xual’ way, in contravention of state law.
“She was arrested for allegedly allowing a customer to touch her while on stage in a non-s£xual manner,” said Avenatti.
“Are you kidding me? They are devoting law enforcement resources to sting operations for this? There has to be higher priorities.”
It’s not clear if the law is ever enforced or it’s being selectively used to target Stormy Daniels.
