Actress and Television personality, Gloria Sarfo is encouraging industry players and stakeholders in the movie industry to support the veterans who have contributed towards the growth of the industry.
The outspoken actress who has made it a norm to celebrate her birthday with the aged confirmed that they [veterans] feel “neglected”.
“They are not happy, they are not okay with what is happening in the system…it looks as if we have neglected them…it looks as if we don’t think they exist. These people those days, I mean years back who entertained us when we get back home.” She said.
Gloria who was speaking to TV Africa’s Nikki Samonas in the wake of the sudden demise of the actor, Mac Jordan Amartey added that movie makers and producers should involve the veteran actors when assigning certain roles.

“Most of our veterans wish they are called back on set, they miss being on set and in front of the camera…You know most of them do admire we the young ones who are emerging… They wish they can act and have something to do with us but they not called. Instead, what do we see, we see people who are made-up to play the roles the veterans can play”
