France President, Emmanuel Macron who visited Nigeria days ago has been spotted partying at a nightclub built in honour of legendary musician Fela Kuti in Lagos.
Legendary Fela Kuti, who died in 1997 initiated the Afrobeat sound and was known for marijuana smoking and a fearless detractor of military rule.
President Macron, who spent half a year as a probationer at the French embassy in Lagos in the early 2000’s – told reporters travelling with him that;
“I like Nigeria a lot. It’s an appealing country. I’ve got a lot of memories… that hasn’t left me”.
