Following Friday’s gory accident involving some fans of his who died, Fancy Gadam has cancelled his scheduled concert to have been held at the Tamale Sports Stadium today (Saturday).
Gadam, in a post on Facebook, expressed great sorrow at the tragic deaths and said he could not in good conscience go ahead with the show in the face of such tragedy.
As we reported some fans of the artist were in a convoy of vehicles heading to the Tamale Airport to meet Gadam and Patoranking who were coming into town for tonight’s show.
A crash occurred after one of the cars in the convoy lost traction and slammed into another, causing a cascading effect of crashes.

There are conflicting reports on the number of deaths but it’s believed at least five and probably as many as nine people lost their lives in the crash.
Following the accident, Gadam took to social media to announce the show, which would have come off at the Tamale Sports Stadium, has been cancelled.
