The ashawobrity business is booming in Gh. Despite the uproar over Moesha Boduong’s comments when she made them it’s to no one’s surprise that many of her colleagues are being caught up in the same kind of life she’s living.
Many of them deny it but one by one the scandals keep popping out and Ghanaians are exposed to the not so secret ashawobrity lifestyle many celebrities have adopted.
Fella is currently the one enjoying the atmosphere with her butt exposed over the weekend after her ‘sponsor’ got pissed off at her and closed down her wine shop.
In all this brouhaha Yvonne Nelson has come out to categorically state that the ashawobrity lifestyle is not for her.
According to her, she works very hard to take care of herself and thus needs no man to take care of her.
Speaking on Joy Fm, Yvonne said dating a man for money would mean you have so say in the house and she is very interested in having a say in her relationship.
“If it were a wealthy or richer man, it’s easy for some of us but it’s not about that. Why do I have to work hard? I would work hard and look for a man with money. I don’t need a man to feed me and pay my bills every day…” she said.
According to her her current relationship with her oyibo baby daddy is based on pure love and not money.
“With Jamie, it’s been, pure love. Don’t date people because of money. He might not even respect you and you can’t question them. They pay your bills and you shut up…”
