An Accra High Court has placed a ten day, interim injunction on the activities of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The court’s judgement freezes any and all activities of the body which is currently in the crosshairs of government for being mired in graft.
Government has currently before the high court filed a motion seeking for the official dissolution of the association in accordance with the statement released by the President last week.

The release of the Anas ‘Number 12’ documentary last week exposed the rot in the GFA spearheaded by its own boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.
That lead to the President ordering for the body to be dissolved and in accordance with that the Attorney General has filed a suit before the High Court seeking just that.
However, prior to the determination of the substantive case an injunction has been placed on the GFA, banning it’s officials from carrying out any action in an official capacity.
