The perils of being a Ghanaian can strike you at anytime. Infectious diseases are everywhere, high cost of living makes life miserable and observing the corruption of those in power makes you sick.
Of course, those are just a couple of the problems, others exist which if you think about could even leave you shedding tears like a baby.
For instance, the story of a 70 year old man who was rushed to 7 hospitals and failed to receive treatment at all 7 until he died.
According to the son of Prince Anthony Opoku Acheampong, Ishmael, his father was sick and even though he needed to be admitted seven hospitals turned them away citing lack of beds.
According to him, they visited the C&J Medicare Hospital in Adabraka, the Korle Bu Polyclinic, Ridge Hospital, Police Hospital, the Trust Hospital, the La Polyclinic, and the LEKMA Hospital but they were turned away at all facilities because they claimed they did not have beds to admit him.

“Somebody who was not sick but to wake up in the morning and he is no more; apart from the fact that it is disheartening, it is also quite not human… For such a thing to happen, I am not only sad. I am confused as well,”  he told Citi News.
