There comes a time, in every celebrity’s life, when they have to face down a fan whose critique of them goes viral.
It has been happening since time immemorial but one Nana Kwame, who slapped Manasseh Azure down in their infamous spat last year, made them famous and since then such internet warriors have been dubbed ‘Nana Kwames’.
Manasseh had his, recently even M.anifest chopped his and now it’s the time of Nana Aba Anamoah.
Recently she slammed Net 2 tv in a series of tweets for posting photos of Anas on screen at the behest of their boss, Kennedy Agyapong.
Nana Aba called them sycophants who cannot stand up to their boss no matter how unreasonable his demands.
However, one James Obeng has slammed her in return. According to him Ghanaians are tired of her lecturing others all the time.
“Where dd you learn that it is unprofessional for a TV station to show a picture said to be Anas Aremeyaw Anas? In which journalism class or textbook did you learn that?” he wondered.

Dear Nana Aba Anamoah,
It is about time you give reasonable Ghanaians a break from your characteristic pontificating self.
Where dd you learn that it is unprofessional for a TV station to show a picture said to be Anas Aremeyaw Anas? In which journalism class or textbook did you learn that?
Well, let me tell you, we all hate the hypocrite Mr Ken Agyepong has become overnight, but the truth is, he is equally entitled to do what he is doing, as he has broken no law.
Yes, many Ghanaians, including myself, would love to anonymize Anas forever, so he could help us fight corruption in our country. But that does not mean, in any way, that it is unlawful to disclose Mr Anas identity. No wrong has been committed. Sometimes the truth hurts, and this is one such scenario.
So, how on earth could you call your fellow journalists at Net2 TV as a bunch of unprofessionals, for merely allowing Mr Agyepong to display Anas’ picture on their screens?
Truth is, attacking Net2 TV and calling it names is rather making people to believe those pictures as Anas, even though they are not. So, what is the basis of your attack anyway? Well, I disagree that Net2 TV did anything unprofessional. We all just wished they had not fallen for Mr Agyepong’s double-standardness.
But talking about unprofessionalism, let me show you one near-example. Unprofessionalism is when you Nana Aba, as head of News at GH-One Tv, release your news-team onto the streets of Accra to ask innocent Ghanaians what they would do when they find one of their relatives is a homosexual! And you film their responses and package it as news.
You can’t be smarter, Nana! We all have seen through the agenda you are so desperately trying to set, and at the appropriate time, the same Anas you are insulting others for will expose you.
Until then, stay blessed, be good, learn your trade well and stop being all-knowing!
Sincerely, Asomasi Kwaku Poku
