Real Madrid Manager Zinedine Zidane Resigns After Leading Club To Historic Third Consecutive Champions League Win

French football legend and Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has shocked the entire globe by announcing his departure from the role he has held for the past two and a half years.
Zidane held a press conference at the club’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium and announced that he has decided to step down from his role.
“I know it’s a strange moment for everyone involved, but I think it’s the right decision.” Zidane told the assembled press.
Zidane’s decision is all the more shocking considering he only won the Champions League last weekend and had led the club to three unprecedented successive Champions League titles.
Zidane took charge from Rafael Benitez in January 2016, and has since then not lost a knockout game in the UEFA Champions League.
