Ghanaian professional footballer, Mubarak Wakaso may lose one of his houses located in East Legon if a land dispute surrounding the building doesn’t go in his favour.
In a report by MyNewsGh, Wakaso’s house which is located at the Mempeasem area around East Legon may be demolished as part of demolition exercise hitting the area soon.
According to the report, Wakaso’s house is likely to be demolished if it turns out that the legal resolution of the land doesn’t fall into his favour.
The pending demolishing is as a result of one Samuel Darko claiming to be the rightful owner of the land judging from documents at his disposal.
The documents available to Samuel Darko traces the ownership of the land in the mid-70’s to date according to MyNewsGh.
Wakaso’s house in question was opened under the watch of the National Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharabutu in 2015.
