Brand Africa has released its list of the 100 most admired brands on the African continent, divided into numerous sub categories and covering all brands.
Media giant EIB Network, despite their relative infancy in comparison to other media conglomerates, managed to finish as the most respected media brand in Ghana.
The network, home to Starr Fm, GhOne TV, the Daily Heritage and numerous other channels, managed to finish among the top ten list of most respected Ghanaian/African brands in Ghana.
The prestigious list contains numerous well established brands in Ghana, making it more remarkable that a relatively new brand such as EIB makes it through.
According to Brand Africa’s survey, conducted with the help of Geopoll, Kasapreko is the number one Ghanaian/African brand most admired in the country, followed by MTN in 2nd and Nallem Clothing in third.
EIB finished 8th on the list, and were the only media group in such prestigious company.
The results were part of the 6th annual Brand Africa 100: Africa’s Best Brands survey released on the sidelines of the IAA Leadership Conference in Accra, Ghana.
The Brand Africa 100 ranking is based on a survey among consumers 18 years and older, conducted in 23 countries across Africa. The countries, representing all African economic regions, collectively account for 75% of the population and the 74% of the GDP of Africa.
