The man who has an entire 73 year old bald President in his pocket, Kwesi Nyantakyi, has come out to decry the negative publicity which has landed on his neck in recent days.
According to Kwesi, the media has showered him with negative publicity in the wake of his bribery scandal.
Nyantakyi was at the premises of the Police CID earlier this week to answer questions pertaining to his role in Anas’ upcoming ‘Number 12’ documentary, in which he solicited for bribes from undercover investigators posing as ‘investors’.
Nyantakyi is alleged to have said in the video that he has the President in his pocket, and asked for $5m to be given to him.
The President ordered an investigation into the matter after watching a snippet of the video.
Speaking after leaving police custody, Nyantakyi joked that he had hoped to make such headlines news by winning a trophy for Ghana and not through a corruption scandal.
He added that the media has tarred him with bad publicity by the way they have reported the saga.
