Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi has been released on bail following hours of interrogation by the Police CID, his lawyer has confirmed.
Thaddeus Sory, who represents the embattled FA chief, said his client had been released on bail, but gave no other details either of his interrogation or of the charges expected to be laid against him.
Nyantakyi arrived in Ghana earlier today from Morocco where he was when the order for his arrest arrived from the President.
He was picked up on arrival at the airport and transported to the CID headquarters for his interrogation.
