Legendary music producer Hammer has resigned as the director of hiplife at the Musicians Union of Ghana after two years in a role which was mostly a ceremonial one.
According to Hammer, his office was given no budget to work with and thus he practically had no mandate at the organization with everything in the hands of Obour.
Hammer was speaking on Joy Fm Monday when he made the revelation about his future plans.
Giving his reasons for resigning, Hammer said: “My office never had a budget to do anything, I was treated like a little boy.”
He added that he was supposed to be ‘the go-to guy when it comes to issues concerning hiplife but “I haven’t worked because it didn’t make sense to me”
“Obour is my friend, I spoke to him a couple of times…he is my boy…I respect him a lot, but nothing was happening.” he added.
