Weeks ago, veteran highlife legend Rex Omar reportedly said most of the budding musicians are not as rich as they appear to be.
According to the Abiba hitmaker, most of them are broke, probably like himself. Beyond that, he said he was not going to allow any of his children venture into music full time because Ghanaian industry does not pay well.

King Promise says he hasn’t the slightest idea where Rex got that notion and wherever he picked it from. He told Entertainment Xtra’ with Emcee Bebe on Cape 93.3 FM that he is not broke.
“I don’t know where Rex Omar got that statistical information from but personally I’m not broke and I believe the same thing applies to my colleagues. I have a first degree, doing music and making enough money from it as well. So how…?”
