Former President Mahama's Political Future Is Dead — NPP Spokesperson

Government spokesperson on Infrastructural Development for the ruling National Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Asante Yeboah has described ex-president, John Mahama as an ‘’Egyptian pharaoh’’ who will see the NDC die like his political ambitions.
Mr. Asante who in 2016 sued the then president for his release of the Montie 3 was a guest alongside, Former Minister and MP for the Ablekuma South constituency, Fritz Baffour on the Media Review segment on TV Africa’s Breakfast live.
Addressing the strength of the NDC in 2020, Mr. Asante likened Mahama to an Egyptian pharaoh whose political life is dead nonetheless still drag other members of his party to an untimely political death.
“I see this pharaoh attitude that is emerging under the NDC. When you look at the ancient Egyptians, they have a way of running their system of governance that when the pharaoh passes on, they literally sacrifice all the maids and household individuals who were helping the man when he was alive and make sure the person go to the grave with the pharaoh.” He said.
