Late Ghanaian Highlife musician, Jewel Ackah will be buried on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Axim in the Western Region.
This was disclosed at his one-week celebration which was held at the Sakasaka Park in Tema, Community 2.
According to the bereaved family, the wake-keeping and thanksgiving service will come off on Friday, August 3 and Sunday, August 5 respectively.
Jewel Ackah’s one-week observation was graced by political bigwigs such as NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Mr Joseph Ade Coker, Yaw Boateng-Djan, former National Organiser, Anita De Sosoo and Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, MP for Ellembele constituency.
Former President John Mahama who also attended Jewel Ackah’s one-week observation donated Ghc12,000 to support the funeral arrangement.

Jewel Ackah was the composer of NDC’s popular theme song, ‘Victory’. He died after battling with a short sickness.
