Veteran Ghanaian highlife legend, writer and composer, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley has said he felt doing music more even though there was the taste for also becoming a preacher man.
Speaking in an interview with Lexis Bill and Joselyn Dumas on Joy FM’s ‘Drive Time Show’ “Behind The Fame”, Ambolley revealed that at the age of 8 years, he felt the spirit of doing music in him.

“I am the only musician in my family. They gave it all to me. By the age of 8, I knew I was gonna do music but I thought I was gonna be a priest too. Some of my colleagues are even priests but I felt the music more.” he said.
