Obviously, Shatta Wale is desperate to make his recently premiered music video, ‘Gringo’ number one–he has called on the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo to hashtag his song on social media, apparently for more views.
Shatta Wale on Twitter twitted:
“Honourable ministers are saying #Gringo Mr President @NAkufoAddo can you please in the name of the Lord hashtag #Gringo? You have worked so much your Excellency! You need it. God bless you God bless Ghana”.
So far Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ music video has garnered over 700,000 views on YouTube in about 7 days.
The music video since its release has generated a lot of controversies on social media with Editor of Ghanacelebrities.com, Chris-Vincent describing it as an expensive but “banal” music video.
