Ernest Opoku has been a hot topic ever since it was revealed that he allegedly put Gladys Mensah Boaku aka NAYAS 1 in the family way and in an attempt to protect his reputation as a devout Man of God, offered her GHS5000 and 15 pieces of GTP cloths to terminate the pregnancy. It all backfired on him when the actress decided not to risk her life by going ahead to abort the three-month-old pregnancy but instead connived with the doctor and went on a shaming spree to expose Ernest Opoku’s deceitful ways, claiming he uses juju to advance his music career and that he has a “womanizing spirit”.
So far the only person who has been talking like a parrot is NAYAS and we never got to hear the other side, that is Ernest Opoku’s version of events. There are three sides to every story, both sides and the actual truth. Well, the gospel singer has finally had enough and has come out to react to these so-called allegations. According to him, Ghanaians just love to glorify bad news even when they don’t have evidence, and that people are particularly fond of targetting innocent men of God just to frame them up with preposterous allegations in an attempt to tarnish their image and discredit their good works.
Concerning NAYAS’ allegations of him using juju, he wondered who in their right mind would go to see a juju man in the full glare of the public, questioning how the actress managed to find out he was into such activities since no one goes about sounding their dealings with fetish priests from the rooftops, more so a gospel artist of his renown. He also wondered which man worth his salt goes around committing fornication or adultery in the presence of other people, in response to the actress’s claim that he was a chronic womanizer who chases after anything in a skirt. He said all these in an interview with Kumasi-based Abusua FM, captured in the video below:
