Kanye West has been enraging blacks all over the United States for much of the past week or so as he cozies up to President Donald J. Trump and his right wing ‘base’.
Kanye has already pissed people off after tweeting at Trump and calling him his brother, then posting a MAGA (Make America Great Again) hat and later wearing it out in public.
It’s no secret that Trump’s presidential career has been built on pandering to white fears by demonizing every other group including Mexicans, Muslims and even Blacks thus Kanye’s actions have drawn a massive backlash on him.
However, the rapper made things far worse when he visited TMZ to talk about his recent controversy and managed to say slavery was a ‘choice’.
According to Kanye, blacks were kept in slavery for 400 years and if they stayed in it that long then they means they chose to be in it.
“When you hear about slavery for 400 years … for 400 years? That sounds like a choice,” he said on TMZ.
Since those comments, Kanye has been roasted mercilessly on twitter, but he has insisted that his comments were misrepresented.
