A Lebanese man who claims to be of Ghanaian descent has bragged that no one can ‘touch’ him because he has strong connections at the seat of government.
In a video published by GhanaWeb, Mr Yahaya is seen and heard bragging about having strong connections at the presidency to an undercover journalist.

The Lebanese man confidently said:
“…for this one I don’t have any problem, you get me, nobody can touch me…. Just give me the boss’ number and don’t worry… I will let them come to the flag house (Jubilee House). As for connections, I have… I have very good connections, nobody can disturb me”.

Mr Yahaya disclosed that Operation Vanguard’s boss is his close friend and for that matter gaining access to operating at a galamsey site wouldn’t be a problem.
If what this Lebanese man is saying is true then the fight against illegal mining in Ghana is a hoax.
