In probably the first right move he has made for the past one week, Patapaa has rendered an unqualified apology to VGMA organizers Charterhouse for accusing them of bribery.
In an interview on StarrChat with Bola Ray, Patapaa turned to the oldest excuse in the book, blaming his anger for his unguarded words on Saturday night.
It’s true that it was a little disconcerting for ‘Total Cheat’ to have won the most popular song award but Patapaa’s accusation of Charterhouse taking ‘stupid money’ was clearly out of anger and he’s walked it back.

He told Bola Ray: “I apologize to Charterhouse, that very day I was not myself…I was very disturbed and my fans were sad as well. I felt like going out of the auditorium and the media pushed me to do an interview, I know I didn’t speak well. Please forgive me, I’m very sorry.”
