Kumi Guitar After Winning NOTHING At The 2018 VGMA Says His 'Dream' Music Video Is Better Than Captain Planet's 'Obi Agye Obi Girl'

Zylofon Music signee, Kumi Guitar who won nothing at the 2018 VGMA says his ‘Dream’ music video should have won the ‘Best Music Video’ on the night.
He explained that Captain Planet’s ‘Obi Agye Obi Girl’ music video did not deserve the award and that his ‘Dream’ music video was far better in terms of video quality than ‘Obi Agye Obi Girl’.

Kumi Guitar who is obviously not happy for not winning an award at the 2018 VGMA stated that the songwriter of the year award should have be given to him.

“I stood the chance of winning all four categories but songwriter and video of the year should have gone to me. I had most legends in the video I shot, we put a lot of effort into it and it came out very well. Compared to all videos in the category, My dream video was the best so I don’t know why it went to a different person.
“Also with the songwriter, If you study how I wrote the song and how it was arranged, I should have won it. Anybody who first listens to the Dream song will think it is a love song but you will later realise it is about highlife music genre and that is the mark of a good songwriter.

“I don’t really know why I didn’t win any of them, maybe it’s because of the votes” Kumi Guitar concluded.
