The 2018 VGMA has kicked off after the red carpet ended, with the awards section of the show currently ongoing.
This year has been a tremendous improvement on years past as the red carpet was held and completed on time and the event itself started by 9pm.
With John Dumelo and Berla Mundi as hosts, the awards are now being presented to the deserving winners on the night.
Check back here for live updates on the winners as and when they come in.
