Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) is one of the biggest Ghanaian held entertainment events which needs the presence of the country’s most famous musicians to perform.
This year VGMA Night is taking place without the country’s biggest artistes of which some are dancehall King, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, the high life singer, Kumi Guitar, Becca and the leading female gospel artiste, Joyce Blessing all signed unto the same record label which is Zylofon Media.
Ghanacelebrities.com has done a thorough investigation as to why these big musicians are not performing on the coming day of the event.

Firstly we found out that, Chaterhouse couldn’t afford to pay the 200,000Ghc amount charged by Zylofon Media per their artiste in order to be released.
Secondly, Zylofon Media deceived the organizers of the event, Charterhouse, and the entire nation by intentionally adding the name of their artiste, Stonebwoy which they knew will not be performing to the list of the performing artiste just to sell their tickets for the VGMA Nomination Jam in Cape Coast.

Charterhouse won’t allow themselves to be fooled twice and so, therefore, decided to stay clear of any Zylofon issues as it happened in Cape Coast.
