Faith Or Murder?- Mother Leaves Her 2 Weeks Old Baby To Die Rather Than Accept Blood Transfusion; This Is Absolute MADNESS!

This post immediately caught my attention because I have had to suffer such fate all at the back of some religious beliefs. I remember when my class four teacher died because his church did not allow for members to have blood transfusion.
It makes me ask and wonder the kind of God some people are serving but the answers are no different from what we get everyday. 
As it stands I don’t even know where I stand when it comes to this religion narratives. I have been reasonably confused in the past and I still am.
I mean why would you allow your child die when blood, which is very much available could save him or her. My teacher died when I was in class three and I can still recall the befitting funeral they gave him, his mother crying and literally falling apart.

One Twitter user has shared her experience with her followers. According to the user with the handle Dr Chioma, a mother left her son for death because her church did not allow blood transfusion and her child suffered anaemia.

“Madam your baby needs to undergo an urgent surgery and he’ll need blood transfusion too. He’s anaemic.” Mum moves over to baby’s bed “Nwam, ngwanu, you will die na. God said we shouldn’t take blood.” We begged. They refused. He was 2 wks old. I cried. Why? Faith or Murder?”
