Ghanaian singer/songwriter and music producer Ephraim, has fired some powerful shots at his fellow artists, describing them as selfish and very stingy.
Ephraim, a veteran producer who has worked with some of the biggest artists in Ghana and produced some of the biggest hits over the past decade, made the declaration on TV Africa’s Breakfast Live show earlier today (Wednesday).
Speaking with Nikki Samonas, he alleged that many of our stars are unwilling to spend good money to get quality produced tracks.
“It is true that Ghanaian artistes don’t like to pay for quality produced work…Ghanaian artistes are very selfish,” Ephraim said.
“The music industry as a whole isn’t doing bad but it will be best if everyone is okay. Not just the producers but everyone who makes an effort in making the song come out right” he added.
Ephraim, who added full time music to his production work about two years ago, revealed that he’s planning on dropping a new single titled ‘God Bless’.
Over the course of his career, Ephraim has worked with stars including Ruff n Smooth, Opanka, VVIP, Tic Tac and many others. Popular singles produced by him include “Sex Machine”, “Banana Sweet”, “Away” and “Lesbobo”.
