National Democratic Congress’ Deputy General Secretary, Mr Koku Anyidoho who was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday 26th, March 2018, has finally been granted bail.
Mr Anyidoho was arrested and charged with treason for threatening to overthrow the current NPP Government. He made those comments when he was called for an interview on Accra based radio station, Happy Fm.
He Said;
“Somebody should tell Nana Akuffo-Addo that history has a very interesting way of repeating itself. There’ll be a civil revolt. On January 13th, a certain Col. Ignatius Kutu Acheampong led a movement that removed the Progress Party from power. Busia was the Prime Minister and Akuffo Addo’s father was a ceremonial President”.
