Delivering On Campaign Promises – NPP Government Renames Flagstaff House To Jubilee House – See Photos

New King, New Law – Ghana’s Seat of the Presidency is undergoing a name change for another time just as the NPP promised.
The facility which was built by the Kuffour led Administration with an Indian loan was initially named “Golden Jubilee House” in commemoration of Ghana’s 50th Independence.

The NDC, however, found the name as a mockery of Ghana’s self-independence because the supposed seat of Government wasn’t even financed from Ghana’s coffers.
The Late Professor Mills’ campaign team once described the $8om edifice as a facility that will best fit for a hencoop for a poultry farm hence refused using it when he was a President.

The then NDC Government decided to change the name to Flagstaff House, a move which NPP vowed to overturn whenever they win power.
From new photos shared by Tv3, it shows men at work placing new alphabets on the building. The two letters captured in the picture so far are “Ju” which gives the impression that it’s going to be renamed as “Jubilee House”.

Update: Whether the name change has undergone any formality has not been told yet but it’s done and “Jubilee House” is now boldly written on the edifice.
