Ghanaian child actor Rahim Banda has been elected as school prefect of the Ghana National College, where he is in his second year of secondary education.
Banda beat three other competitors to finish first in the voting, winning 44 out of the school’s 52 classes to post a landslide victory.
The actor, son of popular businessman and arts critic Ahmed Banda aka Bandex, coasted to victory in the election.
Rahim has put his career on hold for his three year secondary education but from the looks of things his fame is still following him around.
His win also automatically makes him head of the school’s Student Representative Council (SRC).
