A Ghanaian professor based in the United States, Prosper Yao Tsikata, died in an unfortunate gym accident which has left social media in shock.
Tsikata lectured at the Valdosta State University in the U.S state of Georgia and was active on social media where he built a large following who he gave his opinions to on matters of national interest.
According to reports, he died in a fluke accident during his usual gym routine when a metal weight fell on him.
He was quickly rushed to hospital but he did not survive.

His relative youth and exuberant nature has left many in shock over how he could die so abruptly.
