Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, M.anifest a.k.a. M.Dot has said in an interview with Paley Martin of TIDAL that the late Ghanaian dancehall “Queen” Ebony Reigns was indeed reigning in the industry until her sudden death, describing her as a leader of the ‘new school’ of Ghanaian artists.
M.anifest said, “Ebony was one of the leaders of the new school” as she was introducing Ghanaian dancehall music into a different level.
He also said the ‘Sponsor‘ artiste “just had an amazing year out of nowhere” but unfortunately died.
The rapper M.Dot made mention of some other artists such as Darko Vibes, Amaa Rae, Worlasi and King Promise are some of the new stars who he described as “not just being influenced or comparing themselves to the people around them but to the world at large.”
