Yaa Pono, a struggling Ghanaian musician who got a bit of attention in 2017 because of his Shatta Wale diss track, Gbee Naabu, has loudly said he played more shows than any Ghanaian artist in 2017–and we think he must have said this while under the influence.
In an interview with Showbiz927 host Kenneth Addo on 3FM 92.7, Yaa Pono said he conquered all the artistes in Ghana by playing 300 shows with his popular song ‘Gbee Naabu’ which was a hit in 2017.
He said although ‘Gbee Naabu’ was a ‘diss’ song, Ghanaians loved it and it helped him to get more bookings for shows last year, and also made him standout to be the most booked artiste in 2017.
Booked and performed where? Probably in his bedroom.
