Honestly this mindset is so old, everybody has been saying it with no proof and it’s embarrassing that Joe Mettle would indulge in it.
Patapaa is hardly a musician, with his nonsensical lyrics and terrible stagecraft, but at least he’s gotten one hit in his life and claiming its due to evil spirits is just dumb.
Joe Mettle, reigning VGMA artist of the Year who is set to be dethroned in the coming weeks, claims there is a spirit behind Patapaa’s ‘One Corner’ which made it a success.
“Actions bring out the effects of the spirit controlling….It is weird. It is proper weird. [When the song is played] I am like where is everybody going or what is everybody doing?” Mettle said on Joy Fm.

“[One Corner] does not have a good spirit” Mettle added.
