M.anifest has set GHAMRO chairman Rex Omar straight after the latter claimed that the reason he wasn’t receiving royalties was that he wasn’t a member of the body.
According to M.anifest, one does not need to be a member of a music rights body to receive royalties which are owed him.
M.anifest recently complained during an interview with the BBC that he has never received royalties from GHAMRO, Ghana’s Music Rights Organization.
But Chairman Rex Omar hit back, claiming that is because M.anifest isn’t a member of the body.

But the ‘God MC’ replied that assertion on twitter: “I am not a member of samro or prs but s.a. and u.k. royalties have been flowing. Thanks for understanding. You’re a legend BTW. Much respect,” he wrote.
