Ghanaian highlife veteran Rex Omar has gone for the age old adage to explain away why he cheats on his wife, claiming ‘smart’ women know men will always cheat.
According to the singer, he has been married for close to three decades and within that time he has certainly cheated on his wife a time or two.
“I’ve been married to my wife for 28 years. Yes I’ve cheated on her before because I’m a man and not an Angel. Most smart women know most men can’t stay with one woman.” He said on Starr Chat with Bola Ray.

“I’ve never done it for her see… If I want to be honest with you, I’ve cheated on my wife once or twice.” Omar added.
The ‘Dada di Dada’ hitmaker has four children from his 28 year old marriage.
