The nominees list for the 2018 VGMAs was recently revealed and of course all eyes where on the artist of the year category to check out who made the cut.
In the end, it came down to the usual names — Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Joe Mettle and Ebony Reigns.
One person who had a great year but didn’t make the list is Patapaa Amisty and Bulldog says he was cheated.
According to the Zylofon Media executive, Patapaa surely should have made the final list for artist of the year.

“Patapaa should have made it to artiste of the year [category]. If you’re cutting someone out it should not be Patapaa. This is recognition; you don’t go silent or dark on them…” he said angrily.
“…You could have added his name even if he didn’t win. When people put in effort to work, lets recognize it [the effort]. I’m highly disappointed”, he added.
Patapaa’s ‘One Corner’ was definitely one of the biggest hits of the year but did that qualify him for artist of the year nomination?
