Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong has slammed Ghanaian Christians, describing a huge number as brainless who prefers going to church to speak in tongues than to use the brain God put in their heads.
According to Agyapong, that brainlessness is holding back Ghana’s development since we are not utilizing our full potential.
It is an open secret that Ghanaians are obsessed with religion to an absurd level, and it is something we call out on this site all the time.
Speaking on the issue, Agyapong said that God gave us a brain for a reason and we have to use it rather than wasting it in church.
“How can we develop when we spend most of the time in churches praying?” Aygapong quizzed.
“God gave you the brain to think, protect yourself and work to feed yourself but every day you are in the church praying in tongues, how can you develop with such a mentality”, he wondered.
It’s a great question, which we should all answer since many non religious nations who utilize their brains in Western Europe seems to be developing quite well.
