Former comedian turned musician David Oscar has hit out at the Independence Day celebrations, complaining that he’s not impressed.
Taking to social media, Oscar said in 61 years our creative arts sector is still stuck in the past and until that is fixed we should all go to sleep rather than celebrate the occasion.
“61 years on and my country still has no streamlined system to tell me how many times my music has been played and on which media platforms around the country so I can earn my full royalties” he wrote.
Oscar started his career as a comedian where he didn’t have much success and then transitioned to music, where he’s still not having much success.
We guess if Ghana was an artist it’s name would be David Oscar.
