It’s a huge shame that a teacher who simply wants to do his job has to face such demoralizing challenges yet politicians who don’t have 1/100th of his dedication get to chop all the money.
The education of our children should be more important than this.
Awudu Kombian is a teacher at the Warvi D/A primary school in Tolon in the Northern Region of Ghana.
Kombian reportedly walks 42km to school each day just to be able to teach his kids.
For Tuesday’s Independence Day celebrations, district authorities decided to reward his dedication and they came up with a standing fan as the appropriate gift for him.

A standing fan not only for a teacher who walks 42km a day to get to school, but one who has been the only educator at that school for the past three years.
It is only a really blindly loyal or deluded person who would disagree with the statement that Ghana is a real sh*thole.
