Italy In A State Of Shock After A Popular Footballer Died In His Hotel Room Before A Match

The Italian central defender and Fiorentina Captain, Davide Astori is reported dead in his hotel room prior to a match against Udinese which was scheduled for the 4th March 2018 from a sudden cardiac arrest.
Apparently, the 31-year-old footballer was playing a PlayStation game with his teammate Marco Sportiollo, the Fiorentina’s goalie around 23:30.

According to reports, on Sunday morning, after Astori was not seen in the restaurant where his teammates were having their breakfast, this called the attention of his mates because Astori was always there. They made a follow up to his room just to see him dead in his room.

Astori’s death has indeed shocked his teammates, family and the entire citizens of Italy. The news of his death also resulted in their match against Udinese being called off.
