The full list of nominees for the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has been released by organizers of the event, Charter House and interestingly, Shatta Wale who was blacklisted in 2013 is back again.
The majority of industry insiders have lashed out at Charter House after seeing some artistes being nominated in some categories–they are of the view that those artistes do not deserve slots in there judging from their abysmal performance under the year review.

Now the topmost Award on the night ‘Artiste of the Year’ category looks tough and competitive as 2017 ‘Artiste of the Year’ Joe Mettle, BET Award winner, Sarkodie, SM Boss Shatta Wale, BHiM Nation Boss Stonebwoy and the late Ebony Reigns battle for that prestigious accolade.
Under the year review, all the above top Ghanaian artistes did their best, from performing at both local and international events to releasing of albums as well as hit singles (songs).
