These two have not gone after each other in a while and considering they are both now signed to the same label, their beefing days are probably over.
However, Shatta Wale’s recent threat to burn down churches did not sit well with Stonebwoy and he’s gone after his labelmate for that kind of rhetoric.
As you’ll recall, the self proclaimed ‘dancehall king’ got pissed off as hell after a pastor prophesied, in the wake of Ebony’s death, that Wale would die before the end of this year.
Unhappy with that prophesy, Wale recorded a Facebook Live video and threatened to lead the SM Movement to burn down churches all over Ghana in December if he’s not dead by then.
Responding to the threat, Stonebwoy, speaking on Hitz Fm Thursday, said Shatta Wale’s actions were disrespectful.
“In my opinion, that is overly disrespectful… that is too disrespectful to say ‘you go’ burn down churches. That means you are going beyond prophecy to burn down churches”. he told Prince Tsegah.
Despite his public ‘hard’ face, Wale seems to be taking steps behind the scenes to ensure the prophecy never comes true.
