Shatta Wale’s father, Charles Nii-Armah Mensah snr, aka Shatta Capo, seems to agree with his son that the prophecies of doom being put on his life are not real.
According to Capo, some prophets in the country are seeking popularity and they know that attaching Shatta Wale to their ‘prophecies’ would definitely get them the attention they need.
Wale has been tagged for death by at least two prophets after Ebony’s death, with one giving him until December and another saying he would commit suicide.
Both Wale and his mother have railed against these false prophets and now his father is also complaining about it.
Speaking on Hitz Fm, he said these pastors should be ignored because they are only looking for popularity.
“Shatta has become so popular, he has become an institution ….people want to catch a glimpse and also gain some popularity including some of the pastors”, he said.
