Veteran Ghanaian arts & entertainment critic/blogger Osarfo Anthony recently got married to his sweetheart, Badu, in a rarely seen Vedic ceremony held in Accra.
Anthony, a former contributor to GhanaCelebrities.Com, and his wife are both devotees of the Hare Krishna religion and thus were married in the storied tradition of that movement.
The traditional ceremony first came off on Friday, 26th January in a typical Ghanaian traditional setting, before it was followed by the Vedic ceremony on Saturday, January 27th at the Kingsby Hotel.
The beautiful and unique ceremony was duly attended by numerous members of the entertainment fraternity, including but not limited to Master of Ceremonies (MC) KKD, KSM, Abeiku Santana, Nana Adwoa Awindor (Efya’s mum), Vincent MacCauley and many others.
The event was also graced by traditional leaders.
The groom, Osarfo Anthony, is the CEO/Founding Editor of online entertainment portal, Presspeep.com, with over 10 years’ experience – having worked with respected media houses like Flex Newspaper, Razz Newspaper, 98 News, Exclusive Men’s Magazine, Ghanacelebrities.com, GHBase.com, and others.
