Brash and controversial Shatta Wale, the self proclaimed ‘dancehall king’ who built a career on insulting others and never apologizing, has relented for the first time in his life and showed remorse for some actions.
Wale, during Ebony’s one week memorial, gave an emotional speech in which he called on God to strike down all members of the media who criticized Ebony whilst she was alive.
However, during an appearance on Hitz Fm Monday, Wale apologized for his words, saying he was in an emotional state at the time.
“…Because of people like you I will apologize.” he told show host Prince Tsegah.
“I will also apologize to some of them who felt hurt by what I said,”

Wale however called on the media to also dial back on their criticisms of artists.
“…Some people always bashed Ebony and even made fun out of it. You can criticise but don’t make fun out of it. Don’t criticise us too much…,” he implored.
