I Handed Over The Dancehall Crown To Ebony Reigns In 2017 — Kaakie

Ghanaian female dancehall artiste, Grace Kaki Awo Ocansey affectionately called Kaakie in showbiz has indicated that she was holding the dancehall key before she handed it over to Ebony in 2017.
Kaakie who was replying a fan on Instagram revealed that she promised Ebony to support her in the music industry after she [Kaakie] presented the dancehall key to Ebony.

“. in January 2017. I gave her a crown Key holder and told her I was handing over the Dancehall Title to her. Am in full support,” Kaakie replied.
Ebony together with her friend, Fanky Kuri and a military man (Atsu Vondee) believed to be her bodyguard died in a gruesome car accident when the car they were travelling in collided head-on a with VIP bus on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
Ebony’s one-week celebration is currently on-going at the St Martins De Porres at Dansoman in Accra.

Ebony Reigns who died at the age of 20 came into limelight when she released ‘Kupe’ which made waves in the media.
Her final funeral rite has been scheduled to Saturday, March 17, 2018.
